Chapter 2267 The Eternal Road
There are thousands of Buddha's words, but they all have the same meaning - illusion is destroyed, so it is not illusion that is immortal.
What is not immortal is eternity.
Doesn’t knowing one’s mind and one’s nature mean seeing eternity?
What will be disillusioned is ultimately nothingness.
Do you believe there is anything beyond disillusionment?
Awakened ones have discovered that there are eternal things in this world, but it is definitely not the realm that the human body and consciousness can reach. Therefore, the thousands of words in Buddhism are just a pointer - telling you how to use enlightenment to find that eternity, and at the same time,
in eternity.
That's all.
It sounds more fantasy than fantasy, more magical than magic, but unlike the world's people who have gone through thousands of years and still can't break through the limit of immortality, Buddhism clearly shows the steps to reach eternity more scientifically than science.
Later, countless witnesses added and enriched the details of the steps on the road to eternity, which was just the icing on the cake, because the most difficult road had been opened up by Sakyamuni and selflessly showed it to all living beings.
Nuan Yu obviously believed and understood this, so she broke through the metaphor of lampshade and light bulb.
What shines is the light bulb, and what the world is obsessed with is the lampshade.
What is precious is the pearl, what the world is obsessed with is the box.
Qinsi breathed a sigh of relief, "Although I think the comparison is still not appropriate, it can finally make... us understand a little better. Nuanyu, you are right, the lampshade is similar to our body and also contains our six senses.
The five aggregates formed. And the light bulb exists like a spiritual point. Most people in this world are in this situation, equating the lampshade with themselves. But because of the lampshade, the worldly people never know the existence of the spiritual point.
"
A leaf that blocks the eye cannot see Mount Tai. This saying means that certain behaviors of people in the world make it impossible to see the overall situation.
Qinsi is saying the same thing - because people in the world are attached to the body, they are also unable to see the existence of the spiritual point.
The world's people are busy all their lives just for this body. The funny thing is that the world's people never study the inner parts of this body. When there is something wrong with this body, they just leave it in the hands of others to deal with it.
Isn't this similar to how people use mobile phones? People gradually regard their mobile phones as everything to them, and even persuading them to leave their mobile phones can lead to murderous intentions in the world?
If your mobile phone is broken, you can just replace it or repair it, but what about if your human body is broken? People in the world choose to gamble on luck to see if it can be repaired, but only when death is imminent, they think of swearing to protect their bodies, but wait until their bodies see.
It seems to be getting better, but all bad habits have returned to their old ways, and they are unable to extricate themselves from pleasure. They cannot see that old age and death are inevitable, and that things in the world are impermanent.
As Shen Yue's thoughts were revealed in front of people, Qinsi said solemnly, "The behavior of people in the world is indeed a bit ridiculous, but after all, some people have clearly seen the problem of lampshades and light bulbs, and are just worried about how to remove the lampshades. I once said - The reason why I have a serious patient is for me.
I have a body, and I don’t have a body, so what trouble do I have! He is a person who understands lampshades and light bulbs. Unfortunately, he did not leave any method to eliminate serious troubles. Later generations of Taoism have not passed down his true thoughts at all - since
Why do you think that if you are a serious problem, you still have to fantasize about an immortal body? People in the world seem to understand everything, but they only don’t understand themselves. If they don’t understand their own bodies and their own consciousness, it’s actually extremely ridiculous.”
Ye Xuan'er instead encouraged, "But we started to try to understand, and we know that some people in this world have thinner lampshades. Otherwise, why would there be such a thing as a flash of inspiration?"
Qinsi smiled and said, "Even if you have a thin lampshade."
Shouldn't the flash of aura mean that the aura is always there? If the aura is always there, but the aura can only flash once, does it mean that the aura is always blocked by something nearby?
What is blocking or distorting your aura?
Many people always had inspirations and visions when they were young. Why do these visions disappear when they grow up? Doesn’t this prove that after people enter the world of mortals, something gradually accumulates and covers up those spiritual lights? Changes those spiritual lights?
But if you remember your past aura and remove the cover, you can still find your aura.
If you know this, why don't you do it immediately?
Ye Xuan'er saw what Shen Yue was thinking and said again: "The lampshade not only represents the body and the five aggregates, but also represents ignorance. Its thickness represents the greed, anger and ignorance caused by the six consciousnesses, and the six objects caused by greed, anger and ignorance.
How much?”
Qinsi showed a sense of relief and encouraged: "Keep talking!"
Ye Xuan'er stared at the lampshade and the model of the light bulb, showing excitement, "True brightness is like a lamp, and ignorance is the lampshade to cover up the brightness of the lamp. People arise from ignorance, which means that as soon as a person is born, because of his body
Falling into ignorance." Seeing Qinsi nodding, Ye Xuan'er said again, "But when someone is born, the lampshade is thin, and more light will be transmitted, making that person closer to awakening due to enlightenment. Everyone present,
Except for Shen Yue, I'm afraid they are all this kind of people."
Surprisingly, no one asked why Shen Yue should be removed, because they all knew that Shen Yue might have a lampshade, but his lampshade was equivalent to being transparent.
"Therefore there is wisdom and foolishness in this world."
Ye Xuan'er said again, "A wise person can reveal more light because the lampshade is thinner. The light leads that person to have flashes of inspiration from time to time and become an outstanding talent in the world. And people with more brains begin to
Think about why there is light, and when they discover the problem with the lampshade, they will obviously remove the lampshade. This is the removal of ignorance, the removal of the five aggregates, or the removal of dust. This is also called practice!"
Shen Yue nodded slowly.
People in the world explain spiritual practice from various angles, and Ye Xuan'er's explanation is easy to understand.
"Huiyuan's method of chanting Buddha's name is a method of removing lampshades."
Ye Xuan'er understands the Dharma and understands everything. "The white sand is black with it in nirvana, and one cannot help oneself straight in the hemp. The original meaning of the four characters of Amitabha is to visualize the brightness of the body and mind. This is an approximation method to remove the lampshade and reveal the light.
.”
Huiyuan put his hands together and said, "Amitabha, you are so good. What the donor said is easy to understand. Even a poor monk will feel enlightened after listening to it."
He chanted Buddha's name all his life because of his faith, vows and actions.
Belief is the first step in a hundred actions. If you don't believe, nothing can be achieved. If you don't believe and you achieve something, you are definitely just drifting with the tide, being in the wind, disappearing in an instant, and there is no real achievement.
Because of his faith, Huiyuan recited the Buddha's name and observed the Buddha with undivided attention, which made him increasingly clear and clear. However, if you ask him to say this truth like Qinsi and Ye Xuan'er, it is still difficult for him to do so.
Faith does not mean true understanding.
Trust, trust, trust and let it go.
For those who are really innate and unable to understand the Buddha's words, Sakyamuni can only first convince them that there is such a way, and then teach them the method of precepts, concentration, and wisdom, and then help them understand after increasing their wisdom.
Everyone in the world believes that understanding mathematical theories requires wisdom. If this is the case, then doesn’t understanding the overall situation of life require greater wisdom?
But the world just thinks that becoming a monk is to escape from the world! Being a monk is also to escape from the world!
If you are really wise, how can you choose to escape?
