2253. Chapter 2253 In the name of Purdue
2253. Chapter 2253 In the name of Pudu
Author: Mo Wu
The scriptures say: When the Buddha first became enlightened, the demon king Bo Xun saw the Buddha and urged the Tathagata to enter Nirvana quickly.
The Buddha replied: "My disciples have not yet achieved enlightenment, so I am not suitable for Nirvana."
General Bo Xunji - When all your disciples have achieved success, they should enter Nirvana. Otherwise, if you are greedy for the mortal world and are unwilling to leave, how can you prove the words in your scriptures?
Buddha silently agreed.
So Demon King Bo Xun and his disciples rejoiced, thinking that there was no rival in the world. Bo Xun was unable to defeat the Buddha when he was still alive. In order to defeat the Buddha, he once again said - after the Buddha has passed away, in the Age of Ending Dharma, I will transform into a bhikkhu monk.
, who became a monk in the Buddha's teachings, wore Buddha cassocks, recited Buddhist scriptures, and destroyed the Buddha's teachings.
Then the World Honored One shed tears.
Maybe this is not just a legend.
Nowadays, due to the "efforts" of those who wear cassocks and preach the Dharma, people in the world have two attitudes towards the Buddha. One is that they believe that the Buddha's words are brainwashing, and they do not listen or believe them, and even slander and criticize them. The other is that they think that the Buddha is a human being.
The Bodhisattva who saves the suffering is also a businessman. He can grant everything he asks for. He only asks the Buddha and can avoid disasters by burning incense and donating money to the Buddha.
But all the scriptures of Sakyamuni clearly state that you can choose your own path soberly and live in this world without being a puppet. How can this be called brainwashing? The world is convinced by heresy. The Buddha said that he hopes that people in the world will wake up.
, the world thinks this is brainwashing? The Buddha also said - praying to me with the voice, it is the person who practices evil ways and cannot see the Tathagata. The Buddha never said that those who worship the head incense will be blessed, who do those who break their heads to grab the head incense believe?
heresies?
Do people in the world not know the truth? Do they not believe it? Or is it that Demon King Bo Xun has long been transformed into a monk, wearing cassocks, but he is doing things that destroy the Dharma and is really brainwashing the world?
Shen Yue knew the inside story clearly. Hearing the words "Amitabha", he frowned slightly.
Like Nuanyu and the night stars, he had long felt that there was something wrong with this Amitabha. At the same time, he felt that this Amitabha was very similar to a person he knew. When he heard that Amitabha and the group of people in the name of justice, he took Pudu as the
Name, secretly controlling Huiyuan's life, the image of that person in Shen Yue's mind became even clearer.
That person was clearly Du Zijun!
Du Zijun obtained the Pattern Mirror and used the Gate of Wonders and the technology of the apocalyptic people to bewitch Liu Qi and Ye Fusheng, so he could bewitch Huiyuan.
What is Du Zijun’s purpose in bewitching Hui Yuan?
The people who led the apocalypse back then were Councilor Cheng and Do Zijun, and they did a lot of secret things.
Shen Yue resisted the idea of looking outside Tianziji, knowing that Qinsi probably knew about this, and he and Zhao Ji entered Tianziji to help Qinsi verify her inference.
At that time, Huiyuan obviously did not know Shen Yue. After hearing the other party's "instructions", he immediately said, "I will follow the Buddha's instructions."
Shen Yue sighed secretly. From this moment on, Huiyuan was not aware but confused.
The fake Amitabha Buddha heard this and said with satisfaction, "In this case, you should listen to my call and go to a certain place with the Dharma Door of Nirvana... Once there, you can save all sentient beings and go to the Dharma Gate. When your merits are completed, you can go to the Western Bliss.
world."
Huiyuan showed joy and said, "I obey."
Hui Chi suddenly said, "Amitabha, I don't know anything."
The fake Amitabha was slightly impatient, but then he dispersed his dissatisfaction and said, "What's the matter?"
Hui Chi cautiously said, "According to the Buddhist scriptures, when we want to be reborn in the ultimate bliss, we should leave a single thought of clarity when we are showing peace and passing into death. The Buddhist scriptures describe this as - if one's mind can be undisturbed, when one is about to die,
Amitabha Buddha and all the saints are now in front of him..."
The fake Amitabha asked, "So what?"
Shen Yue was slightly moved, and realized that Hui Chi was now more awake than Hui Yuan. Perhaps this was the onlooker's understanding. Without Hui Chi asking any more questions, Shen Yue already knew Hui Chi's intention - compared to Mahayana, Hinayana seemed to be at a different level. Gao, in terms of worldly affairs, those who can achieve enlightenment through the Hinayana Dharma are all rare wise men in the world.
Since Han Dynasty, he not only strictly observes the precepts, but also meditates clearly. He can be said to be very clear about the sequence mentioned in the scriptures.
Sakyamuni's Sutra not only talks about incredible realms, but also explains the detailed steps of cultivation, as well as what the practitioner's reaction will be after reaching each step.
Otherwise, why would there be such a thing as explicit teaching in Buddhism?
What is explicit teaching? That is the teaching that is obvious and clear.
It is said that teaching disciples will starve the master to death. But Sakyamuni never thought so. He taught his disciples everything he knew without reservation. Even because the disciples did not know it, he still patiently explained it repeatedly from multiple levels. The Buddha did not leave any traces. It was only because the disciples were afraid of forgetting the scriptures that they summoned the disciples who had learned a lot about the scriptures to collect the words spoken by the Buddha into scriptures. The order of practice mentioned by the Buddha was also clearly written down in the scriptures.
But just like studying mathematics, there are several types of people studying mathematics. One is genius, who takes their understanding of axioms and theorems for granted. As soon as they see the axioms and theorems, they fully understand the purpose and use of these rules. In the past and future, so in the rules There is no sense of restraint, but they are easy to use; the second type of people don't quite understand the true meaning of the rules, but they strictly follow the rules, which can also be regarded as talents. Of course, there is a third type of people - For such people who do not understand what the rules are, what their purpose is, what they are learning, and where to use them, learning mathematics is painful.
This is true for learning mathematics, and the same is true for spiritual practice.
Keeping the precepts means observing the rules.
Rules are not formulated to restrain all living beings, but to truly facilitate practice.
Genius practitioners self-examine the causes and conditions and go straight to enlightenment, because the nature of the mind is eternal and only lies in discovery and attainment. The second type of practitioners mostly follow the three non-leakages, that is, using the steps of precepts, concentration, and wisdom to gradually maintain the precepts and enter concentration. Increase your wisdom, then gradually remove the principles and obstacles, clear away the dust and reveal the truth, and finally achieve enlightenment.
Precepts are like a flat ground, and all good deeds arise from them. As long as you uphold the precepts and increase your spirit, maintain righteous faith, and follow the righteous Dharma, you will slowly be able to understand one or two things.
The remaining idiots do not know the principles of Buddhism and do not understand the rules. They chant the Buddha's name in their mouths, have delusional thoughts, and cannot get what they want. They are like the mistress who refuses to enter the main house to get a share of the family property. They curse and hate the Buddha. Even if they have believed in the Buddha for many years and become obsessed with it, it is better not to believe in it.
Zi Han is the second and upper level of people. They may not really understand the true meaning of the teachings, but their memory of the sequence is definitely clear.
Du Zijun is very knowledgeable, and his understanding of Buddhist language is also good. In fact, there are many smart people in this world who can form their own systems, so they can also understand other systems. It is not that they can integrate them, but they can integrate them. Among them, there are one or two comments. Therefore, what Du Zijun said to Huiyuan at the beginning was indeed like an enlightened monk.
Any of the eminent monks in the world who seem to have attained the Tao can explain certain scriptures in a clear and logical way, because they know that this is the foundation for their livelihood. If they are asked by believers, they can also answer the Tao in a clear and logical way, not because they are enlightened, but because they are enlightened. This is because this is how the scriptures answered believers. They only recorded the Buddha's answers to believers. As for what the answers were, they themselves were not entirely clear.
Du Zijun is like this kind of "enlightened monk". He deceived Huiyuan's trust by wearing cassocks and preaching the Dharma, and then he immediately pursued his own goals.
