Chapter 22 The Righteous Sandman

 Peter said this.

As Robert expected.

This is about Peter's adventure to the Lizardman Company for half a month.

"Do you know? Robert, that Dr. Connors actually wants to implant the lizard's genes into his body!"

"So what?" Robert asked.

"Do you want to stop someone from committing suicide? Peter?"

"I just want to know about my parents..." Peter explained.

"Do you have any questions?" Baker listened attentively and asked.

Robert and Peter each looked at him.

After Peter cleared his discomfort, he continued: "From the information I obtained, my parents were affiliated with the Federal Security Agency and seemed to have died in a plane crash."

Robert simply mentioned: "So, based on various information, it is not accidental that you gain the ability of a spider."

"Maybe your father twitched his hands and feet in the spider. As long as they bite you, you will awaken the spider's ability and become Spider-Man smoothly."

Peter also has this thinking: "I agree with you."

"I agree, too." Baker agreed.

The atmosphere became quiet for a moment.

It was Robert who broke the silence.

"Although I don't know why you got involved, we don't seem to have what you want here." Robert simply made the relationship between the few people clear.

A month ago, Baker was still in a hostile relationship with both of them.

And now, Robert has to doubt Baker's intentions.

At least Baker is not the kind of good guy who helps others - last night's provocation was the best proof.

Baker folded his arms and chest: "I want to be a normal person."

"That's impossible." Robert directly denied.

Peter shook his head, "If you are a robot now, I might have said a few more words, but you are a sand man, take care of your brother."

Baker tried to make his facial expression look kinder: "Do you know? I have a daughter who is just in high school and I'm going back to see my daughter."

Robert and Peter looked at each other.

Peter said: "Sorry, I don't have a daughter, I can't share your mood. Even if I can understand your psychology, it will be useless."

Robert thought for a while: "You might as well change your mind."

Baker's trembling teeth calmed down, and he finally relaxed his mood that was about to explode.

"What's the idea?"

"The idea is, do you want to be a hero?" Robert said in a surprising way.

Not only Baker was confused, but Peter was also stunned.

Robert analyzed: "You see, you are just a homeless man now. From a certain perspective, you have no meaning to live except your daughter."

"Yes, when I accidentally entered the nuclear test site, I should have died, rather than confuse it with sand and soil." Baker's eyes were lonely.

"But you are still alive, and I don't think you can commit suicide now, maybe you can try jumping into the sea," Robert suggested.

"No, that's even more uncomfortable than eating shit." The sand man refused decisively.

"Then the rest of the road will be clear."

"Become a hero." Robert emphasized again.

So, under the illumination of street lights, the three of them analyzed the role of hero again at the door of the convenience store.

"Spider-Man, how do you think you are a hero?" Baker touched his nose.

"Super cool!" Peter shouted loudly.

After two seconds, Peter's whole body drooped like an eggplant hit by frost.

“Super tired!”

Baker's mouth twitched.

Instead, he turned his inquiring eyes to Robert.

Robert shrugged: "I'm not a hero."

"King of Heroes, please pay attention to your words!" Peter shouted protestly.

Robert chose to ignore Peter's trouble and continued, "But I can be sure that what Peter said is basically the fact."

"But here, I want to remind you two more points."

"One, you can rob the rich and help the poor, especially the inexplicable bird man just now. I don't think you want your daughter's tuition to be paid by some places."

"Two, you may die, you are not invincible. But in this way, you can die with a clear conscience, at least not in a meaningless prison."

The sand man nodded or shook his head from time to time.

This statement seems to have been very strongly for Robert to be a hero, but in fact, whether the Shaman is a hero or not has nothing to do with him.

Robert just pointed out the best path for him.

I don’t expect the Sandman to help him fight Jin and join hands to join those anti-heroes in the future.

At least don't cause him trouble.

Baker pondered for a few seconds, but finally agreed: "I agree, I want to be a hero."

"You don't need to say this to me," Robert reminded.

"I just helped you analyze the current situation. I am not responsible for your subsequent behavior."

"Let me ask, aren't you the same organization?" Baker glanced back and forth at Peter and Robert.

"Mr. Spider-Man seems to be famous in Queens, and Robert, you, the man in black, has become a symbol in Queens."

"I don't think Spider-Man that appears recently has nothing to do with you. Combined with the man in black who appears in the news, I think the man in black is Robert, you."

"It's hard not to remind you of the same organization when you two fight together."

Robert raised his hand: "If you think two people are considered the same organization, I don't think I have anything to say."

"Three people should be fine." Baker nodded in agreement.

Robert held his forehead: "Please take back this boring idea."

"I won't talk about whether I'm a hero or not, even if I do, I don't think there is any effect of too many people."

"At least, when encountering enemies with similar numbers, you will not be at a disadvantage."

Robert added: "The premise is that the strength is not far apart."

Robert was unable to explain anymore.

The sand people like to think about it, but it’s a pity that there may be another “person” who shouts the name of the hero king in the future.

Robert almost buckled his toes when he remembered that scene.

So Robert wisely changed the subject: "Talk about Peter, Dr. Connors' situation, you will investigate it later."

Robert was also rude to the Sandman: "Since you want to be a hero, then a doctor who is about to inject the lizardman gene is very suitable for your test."

"You just need to cooperate with Peter's actions."

"No problem." After talking thoroughly, Peter took Baker's shoulders familiarly.

Baker nodded thoughtfully: "What if he meets a guy like Birdman again?"

"If you can kill, just kill it." Robert really didn't want to hear the vultures screaming again.

"What if the doctor had a very bad situation?" Baker frowned.

Brother, you are such a great prophet.

Robert said: "Do your best."

The lizard man that may appear is similar to the Sand man's physique.

They are all heroes who are hard to kill on the street level.

Robert thought it was already very good for the Sandman and Peter to save their lives.

Baker and Peter nodded: "Understand."

Robert was stunned, but shook his head and laughed for a moment, turned around and went back to the convenience store to be on duty.

"Then I wish you a happy adventure tonight."
